getting anxious

I'm getting really excited about the $2 a day challenge. So far, I have all the change my boyfriend and I have saved in our change jar AND a friend from class said she would donate $50! My dad said he would donate, which reminds me i should call him. My little brother said he would donate too. A couple days ago, I was reading in the Monroe lobby (as I so frequently am) and I decided to go ask some of the American Studies professors for donations. Only one was in her office, and she said she would check out the website.
Here are some ideas Sam and I have come up with so far... for food, we're going to get a huge bag of pasta and a huge can of tomato sauce...should last all week. Toothbrushes, toothpaste, and deoderant from the dollar store. We won't be able to afford coffee BUT we have a solution for that. Hyperion. First of all, you have to have cash to buy things there. We are going to sit out side in the mornings and ask people to please buy us a cup of the house coffee and maybe a bagel! Plus, when they leave we can tell them about the $2 a day challenge and ask for donations. OH I just got another idea....maybe one day the workers at Hyperion will donate the money from the tip jar! For more food, we can sit outside of the nest. We figured that people have tons of flex and they can spare food. Seaco is an option too. To amuse ourselves, we could borrow dvd's from kids on campus and watch them in the computer lab. There are also various plans we have involving sleeping arrangements that I won't mention just yet at the cost of Dr. Humphrey finding out too much and getting in trouble. Anyhow, I'm so ready for this challenge. Plus our class needs some bonus points, so i hope everyone is fundraising! Until later, ciao.
